Get a Stamped Concrete Driveway in Hamilton for Your Home

If you love the look of natural stone but hate the price, stamped concrete is the solution for your next home improvement project. It allows you to create a surface for your driveway, pool deck, patio, steps or walkway that resembles high-end landscaping materials at a fraction of the cost. What's more, stamped concrete provides virtually unlimited colour schemes and patterns as well as the ability to design natural and flowing outdoor living spaces. Add to this the fact that Pro Pavement Services Ltd. craftsmen pay close attention to the details of design, structural integrity and aesthetics – what a wonderful product for homeowners, architects and designers!

The Installation Process

Before installation begins we perform two site assessments. During the first visit we assess the site and provide a free estimate. If the terms are agreeable we conduct a formal site assessment and arrange a start date. These assessments are critical to the longevity of our stamped concrete installations—while this surface is light on labour and easy to install, there are complexities to achieving the perfect mixture.

Maintenance

Decorative concrete is created using a variety of colours and sealants. To maintain its appearance it should be sealed on a regular basis. We recommend sealing the cured surface following installation and every 1 to 4 years after that, depending on traffic and use. Pro Pavement Services Ltd. is happy to provide professional and prompt re-sealing so you can use your surfaces again quickly.

ChoosE a Pattern

Choosing the right pattern can be just as important as deciding what colour to paint your house. There are dozens of patterns to choose from, each as remarkable as the next. And all patterns are three-dimensional, making it virtually impossible to tell the difference between stamped concrete and the real thing. Here are just a few of the more popular patterns:

  • Ashlar slate
  • Cobblestone
  • European fan
  • Random stone
  • Cobble stone
  • Brick border

Need advice on the right colour, location or shape? Just ask! We're always happy to help.

Protect Against Snow and Ice

Salt and other types of chemical de-icers will destroy concrete surfaces that are not maintained with a sealer. We recommend using a special sealer that forms a strong barrier over the surface of the stamped concrete. This sealer must be well-maintained to ensure that the colours in the stamped concrete surface are protected.
